Mark J. Geragos, who has built an international reputation for his success defending celebrated cases, heads the firm's criminal practice. Mr. Geragos and his partners and associates bring the highest level of expertise to the defense of criminal cases before state and federal courts in California and throughout the United States.

FEDERAL PRACTICE

George W. Buehler, who has specialized in federal criminal and civil litigation for almost 30 years, directs the firm's substantial practice in the federal courts. The firm defends clients in criminal investigations and indictments brought by the United States Attorney's Office, including cases alleging securities fraud, criminal tax evasion, bank and business frauds, intellectual property offenses, political corruption and violent crimes. The firm also represents clients in a wide variety of civil lawsuits in federal courts.
